What are kite sports?

Kite flying is for all ages there are single line kites for small children. Stunt kites for larger children upwards. Power kites from about 12 years and up (supervised) and depending on their size and weight. Flying small kites takes little energy and is suitable for most, some stunt kites also. Some stunt kites and power kites however are powerful and require more physical energy to fly them. Providing you are in good health this should not be a problem and can help to keep you fit and healthy. If you suffer from any cardiovascular problems it would not be suitable as it could put strain on your chest muscles and your heart.

Eco friendly
Kite flying is eco friendly it leaves no pollution and has little noise. Tracks left behind on a beach by buggys or land boards are washed away by the next tide leaving little or no trace behind. Once you have bought your kite it may occasionally cost you a little to maintain but it wont cost you a cent to run, the wind is free and usually there is plenty of it.
