Clifden Boat Club Annual Regatta
31 July - 1 August
The Clifden Regattas are organised by the Clifden Boat
Club. It is an annual event with boats coming from far and wide. The largest
Irish Sailing Trophy is up for grabs. This weekend event has plenty of
entertainment for all.

Live commentary and music all day. Live band playing
on Saturday and Sunday.
Prize-giving
The Prize-giving will start at 19:00 - Sand Castle Building, Tug-O-War,
Swimming, Dinghy Classes, Yacht Racing.
The Clifden Boat Club is now the proud owner of a fleet
of 420 sailing dinghies. To use these Boats all you have to do is become
a Boat Club member, get on the helmsman list and you are free to go sailing
at anytime for free.
The Clifden Boat Club organises Dinghy racing on Wednesday nights and
Yacht Racing on Thursday night.
As a Boat Club member you are free to use all the Club Facilities including
the Club House Bar, Boat yard, changing rooms, and there is a large social
calendar scheduled every year. The Clifden Boat Club is endeavoured to
promote all water activities from Sailing, Angling, Powerboating, Water
Skiing and any other water-based activity.
The Clifden Boat Club is also a firm supporter of the R.N.L.I.
