Conamara Bog Week is a celebration of all that is magical about the Conamara landscape. The festival celebrated it’s 30th birthday in 2014 and has grown to be a wonderful and unique festival with something to interest all age groups. A flavour of the fun can be seen below…

Family Fun Day Sunday 29th May:
The day kicks off with a 5km fun run event which starts in Tullycross at 2.30pm and finishes in Letterfrack. Participants are asked to arrive for sign in before 2pm. After the race, a fun sports day involving races from under 4 to under 14, with novelty events for adults and children alike will take place. Some old fashioned events such as sheaf throwing, welly throwing and horse shoe throwing will also take place. Music on the gig rig.
