Stefan Matz, the award-winning executive head chef at Delphi Adventure Resort & Spa has created a tasty new series of food and wine events to showcase the finest produce from the region with a range of gourmet and fine wine experiences sure to please all palates.
Next up on Saturday October 31st is Simon and Kate Kennedy of Killary Fjord Shellfish who will join Stefan to host ‘Killary Seafood Weekend ‘taking guests on a visit to Killary Seafood Farm followed by an alfresco lunch at Killary Harbour. Later that evening, guests will dine in The Chef’s Table and experience a 5-course tasting menu featuring a bounty of mere morsels including oysters, mussels and clams from the fresh waters of Killary Seafood Farm. Places cost €79 per person including dinner with matching wine and overnight accommodation in the luxurious 4 star hotel also available upon request.
Further events in the series include High Tea with Bewley’s November 6th, Craft Beer Dinner with Black Donkey Brewing November 7th, a Portuguese Wine Dinner with James Nicolson Wine Merchants November 28th and a highlight of the series will be The Christmas Table with Stefan Matz, a delectable lunch with an array of contemporary festive trimmings including matching wines and a cooking demonstration on December 4th and 5th.
