Dublin native Declan O Rourke will leave dry land for a very special concert on the Killary Fjord tour boat, ‘The Connemara Lady’. The singer songwriter has, until this performance, been land-based so his show on the evening of the 18th of July is a special opportunity for all who love good music. The boat, which by day operates the well-known Killary Fjiord Boat Tour, is a fantastic venue for a concert. It provides an intimate setting, and with a full bar, all that the biggest venues can offer but with a truly special ambience. While Declan may rock the boat, the special design of the vessel guarantees that patrons will remain stable, with no seasickness guaranteed.
This concert is part of the legendary Killary Sessions, which sees the ship play host to a series of musical evenings. Listening to music at sea is a very special experience that makes for a truly memorable night out.
The boat will depart from Nancy’s Point, Leenane at 8pm and the trip will take about two hours. There is a spacious seated area, toilets and full bar on board.
